Republic Day 2026 : How to book Tickets Online/Offline, Parade Schedule , Beating the treats and more
India celebrates it’s 77th Republic Day on January 26, 2026, with Grand parades, cultural exhibitions, and a showcase of India’s defense capabilities, with additional tickets available for the Full-Dress Rehearsal of Beating Retreat and main Beating Retreat ceremony on 29 January.

Tickets are available online via the Aamantran portal or at offline counters in Delhi starting January 5. Tickets are priced at Rs 20 and Rs 100.
This year, the festivities focus on the patriotic theme “Vande Mataram”, marking 150 years of our national song alongside the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative. India will mark its 77th Republic Day on 26 January 2026 with the annual parade at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, showcasing the armed forces, cultural tableaux and civil contingents. The celebrations conclude with the Beating Retreat ceremony at Vijay Chowk.
To be part of this national celebration, you must secure your seats in advance. Ticket sales have already started since January 5, 2026.

How To Book Tickets For The January 26 Parade and Beating Retreat?

The bookings for the 2026 Republic Day Parade began on January 5, 2026, and are expected to continue until Wednesday, January 14, at 9 a.m., or until the daily quota is exhausted. You can buy the tickets directly from the Aamantran website i.e.,www.aamantran.mod.gov.in. or via the Aamantran app. Valid government photo ID must be used at entry.
OFFLINE : –
Physical counters in Delhi operate from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM between January 5 and 14. Locations include Sena Bhawan, Shastri Bhawan, Jantar Mantar, Parliament House reception, Rajiv Chowk and Kashmereu Gate.
Tickets can also be purchased from booths/counters at six locations by presenting an original photo ID card, such as an Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport or ID Card issued by the Central/State Government, among others.
How to Watch the Republic Day Parade Without a Ticket?
You can watch the parade on your TV, as all the significant news channels, including Doordarshan, will telecast the parade. Without the ticket, you cannot enter the seated enclosures at Kartavya Path due to high security.
Timings Of The Republic Day Parade
The Republic Day Parade, as usual is expected to begin at 9:30 AM or 10:00 AM. The ceremony starts with the Prime Minister’s visit to the National War Memorial, followed by the unfurling of the National Flag and the playing of the National Anthem. The parade lasts approximately 90 to 120 minutes.
Where to Watch The Parade Live?
You can watch the entire event live from the comfort of your home on Doordarshan (DD National), which provides multi-camera coverage. Additionally, the parade is streamed live on the official YouTube channels of Press Information Bureau (PIB) and Doordarshan, as well as the Aamantran portal. Most major Indian news networks also broadcast the event live on TV and their digital platforms.
Where Can We See The Republic Day Parade?
The main event is held at Kartavya Path in New Delhi. The parade traditionally starts from Rashtrapati Bhavan, moves along Kartavya Path, passes through India Gate, and concludes at the Red Fort.
What to Expect in the Parade ?
The Republic Day parade features aerial fly-pasts, precision drills, cultural tableaux from states and Union territories, and performances by schoolchildren and folk artists. It celebrates India’s constitutional heritage and diverse culture.
