The couple posed with chef Mayank Istwal during their visit, with the chef later sharing the frames on Instagram. Both twinning in black outfits, the couple posed with the chef. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh started the new year with a quiet winter escape to New York. The couple was seen exploring New York’s festive decorations during Christmas week last year.
The couple hasn’t shared any images themselves, though their fan pages are already flooded with lovely pictures from the New York getaway. The actors posed for selfies with fans at the venue, and one later shared pictures on Instagram, describing the memorable encounter. Deepika wore a black leather jacket paired with smoky eye make-up, while Ranveer sported a black coat and a black beanie.
During their stay, the couple stepped out for a cosy dinner at Musaafer, a Michelin-star restaurant, where they posed with chef Mayank Istwal.
Earlier today, chef Mayank Istwal shared a selfie on Instagram with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. He captioned the post, “It was a pleasure to host @deepikapadukone and @ranveersingh. Amazing humans!”
A user asked online about the couple’s order, chef Istwal revealed that they opted for his signature dish dal makhani.
Deepika also attended a Backstreet Boys concert in Las Vegas, ticking it off her bucket list. The couple also visited chef Vikas Khanna’s restaurant, Bungalow, where they celebrated Ranveer’s recent success with modaks.
Ranveer Singh has been garnering attention for his role in Dhurandhar, which has become the highest-grossing Bollywood title with Rs 857 crore in India and Rs 1,296 crore worldwide smashing all box-office records. The sequel is scheduled to release on March 19.
Deepika Padukone will next be seen in the highly anticipated action-entertainer King, alongside Shah Rukh Khan directed by Siddharth Anand , which is expected to release later this year. She is also part of Atlee’s AA22xA6, slated for a 2027 release.
