If there are no subscribers, no watch time !! We all end up breaking down. Thinking if we don’t invest money in any software or ads…then no subscribers, which is going to be hard and not going to get great results.

Now I’m going to share with you how to promote your YouTube video, even if you have zero subscribers.

1. Promote videos outside the YouTube. Embed the videos, in the blogpost or in the articles you’ve written under the same concept. This helps to get more views to YouTube videos. It sends more positive signals to YouTube and in general, your rankings start performing better.

2. Though YouTube is very competitive, especially in the English language, but it’s not that hard to get views outside of the English language, so make sure to translate your video, and transcribe into different languages.

Example: If the video is in English, upload the video with subtitles in other language like (Portuguese, Spanish, German and other languages). By doing that we’re not only getting views in English, but we’re then getting views in all these different languages.

3. Leverage your existing audience if you have a website and an email list. If you create a YouTube video just do an email blast from your email list to that YouTube video. It helps to get tons more views, engagement, and of course, more subscribers on YouTube, start ranking higher.

4. If you have search traffic going to your website look at your most popular post. You can see these within your Google Search Console, or Google Analytics. Look at the most popular pages. See which videos are the most relevant to that YouTube clip or video that you created, embed that video into your blog post. It’ll help your videos get consistent views.

In addition to that, what you’ll find is it’ll also keep people on your website longer, which will also help improve your ranking. So it’s a win. Not only are you getting more YouTube views, but people are staying on your site longer. It helps to improve your user metrics, which improves your overall rankings in Google.
