Hrithik Roshan Hints At Krrish4 In Gym Video On His Birthday : ‘Look what popped on my screen’
Hrithik Roshan hints at his return as Krrish with an intense workout video. The actor is seen sweating it out in the gym, lifting heavy weights, hopping on a stationary bike, and striking that iconic Krrish pose.

In 2006, actor Hrithik Roshan gave Bollywood one of its first superheroes in the form of Krrish. The industry got it’s prequel Koi Mil Gaya which was a sci-fi success with interconnected characters and storylines. Now, after years of speculation, signs suggest that preparations are firmly underway.
In a recent video, the OG superhero posted a video on his brand HRX’s social media account, the actor could be seen pumping the iron, presumably getting in shape to play the superhero once again.
The video starts with Hrithik posing shirtless in front of a mirror. He quickly starts showcasing his workout regime like lifting heavy weights throughout the video. His girlfriend, Saba Azad, joins in for a playful high-five, making the workout session feel even more real. At the end of the video, Hrithik is seen using a stationary bike when he calls in the camera to see what has just “popped on his screen”. It’s a still of Krrish, and suddenly the video cuts to black.

In 2025, the Roshan family shared that Hrithik would be directing the film. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, his father Rakesh Roshan said “The script didn’t take a lot of time. The pressure was the budgeting. Now that we have an idea of the definite budget required for this film, we’ll be starting the film. The work is going on in full swing. We are going to start shooting by the middle of next year. This is because the pre-production is much more extensive for this film. Hence, we have to be well prepared before we go on floors. We plan to release it in 2027.”
In March 2025, Yash Raj Films announced that Hrithik was going to make Krrish 4 in association with them. Hrithik’s last big YRF project, War2, starring Hrithik, NTR Jr, Kiara Advani, didn’t hit the mark at the box office.
During an event in Dubai, Hrithik was called to the stage and introduced as a “global icon” and “superstar”. While referring to War 2’s performance at the box office, Hrithik said, “That’s very kind of you… You know, my film just bombed at the box office, so it feels very good to get all the love. Thank you.”
Before Krrish, the franchise started with Koi Mil Gaya, where Hrithik’s character gains power from an alien named Jadoo, which later pass on to his son Krishna Mehra in Krrish. Apart from Krrish4, Hrithik has teamed up with Hombale Films, known for Kantara, for a new project described as “a tale of grit, grandeur and glory, where intensity meets imagination, and the Big Bang begins.”
