India AI Impact Summit 2026 : Shaping Global AI for Progress

The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is a five-day global event held from 16 to 20 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. It is the first global AI summit hosted in the Global South and focuses on transitioning AI dialogue into “demonstrable impact” through the three foundational pillars (Sutras) of People, Planet, and Progress.

Key Event Details of the event:

  • Dates: 16–20 February 2026 (Extended for the public until 21 February due to high demand).
  • Primary Venue: Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
  • Additional Venues: Sushma Swaraj Bhawan and Ambedkar Bhawan.
  • Inauguration: Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered the inaugural address on 19 February.
  • Scale: Over 100 government representatives, 20+ Heads of State, 60+ Ministers, and 500+ global AI leaders.

Summit Highlights: AI Impact Expo and Global Challenges

  • AI Impact Expo 2026: A massive exhibition covering 70,000 square metres with over 300 exhibitors from 30+ countries across 10 thematic pavilions.
  • Global Impact Challenges: Three flagship challenges aimed at identifying scalable AI solutions:
    • AI for ALL: Identifying solutions for large-scale societal impact.
    • AI by HER: Promoting women-led AI innovations.
    • YUVAi: A global youth challenge for innovators aged 13–21.
  • Research Symposium: A principal academic platform (held on 18 February) featuring leading researchers from Google DeepMind, Microsoft Research, and MIT.
  • Guinness World Record: The summit entered the records for the highest number of pledges (2,50,946) taken by students for the responsible use of AI within 24 hours.
  • Knowledge Casebooks: Launch of six sectoral casebooks showcasing 170+ deployed AI innovations in Health, Energy, Education, Agriculture, Gender Empowerment, and Accessibility.

Registration and Attendance

As of mid-February, in-person attendance is currently oversubscribed. All sessions are streamed live online for those unable to attend in person. Registered delegates must present a QR code (sent via email) and a valid government-issued photo ID at specific gates (Bharat Mandapam Gate 4/10 or Sushma Swaraj Bhawan Gate 2).
